Flying problems12

780 $

This painting was created in 2023. This year I was looking for a balance between life and desire while going out, and the work turned into lively small-size paper creations.

The "Problems of Flying" series was painted in my free time at work this year. After sweating profusely every day, cherish the remaining time to fly —— choose what to eat tonight, what speed and posture to walk on the road, and count the days to meet friends and lovers.
The problem of flying is the problem of freedom, but freedom is an abstract word that exists in the imagination, while flying is a concrete problem in practice——how to take off, which direction the wind is coming from, which sky it is in, how long you have enough physical strength to fly, constant adjustments attitude and when to land.

Creative themes and style |   My works revolve around the creative concept of  "The land of humanity, People on the land". The people in the painting are people in nature, and the lines, shapes, and colors are close to nature. The nature in the painting is nature in the eyes of humans, existing in interaction with humans.I don’t pursue a series of works with a fixed and continuous style. I hope that the style of the pictures will synchronize with the changes in my life and always remain oscillating. The performance of the work must be in sync with the development of one's own life in order to be Sincere and powerful. Ideas are later.

This painting weaves a unique visual narrative through fantastical combinations. In the artwork, plants, human figures, and curious forms blend together, like an impromptu dialogue between nature and humanity. Composition-wise, the elements nestle and intertwine, defying conventional order. Yet, the lines bind them into an internal logic, much like vines creeping, guiding the eye to dart between the concrete and abstract, unearthing hidden vitality.

Color usage is vivid and layered. The blue-green backdrop sets a fresh, lively tone, akin to a stream where life flows. The yellow, flower-like patches burst forth enthusiastically, as if sunlight kisses branches and leaves, infusing the scene with energy. The painting style leans into expressive symbolism. It shuns precise realism, using free brushstrokes and subjective hues to turn forms into vessels for emotion and imagination—like gifting natural elements story-telling souls.

Emotionally, it’s optimistic and poetic. The fusion of human shapes and plants romantically interprets humanity’s symbiosis with nature, radiating warmth for embracing the world and accepting diversity. Stylistically, it echoes Marc Chagall’s dreamy lyricism, both using surreal pairings to convey pure philosophical ideas. Yet this piece carries wilder natural tension. It transforms overlooked daily connections into fantastic artistic encounters, urging viewers to cherish life’s subtle beauties. Amid the harmony of colors and forms, it plays a lively melody of life’s integration, making art a bridge between reality and fantasy—granting souls the freedom to break free, to daydream without bounds.
