The rain flooded the whole night

1200 $

This painting was created in 2024. The colors of this year are still bright but not dazzling. I have gradually found a balance point among the bright colors.

A relaxing daily exercise. When I was just about to finish it, I unknowingly spent another two hours drawing because I answered a call from a friend. After hanging up the phone, I hurriedly checked whether the drawing I had just made was too detailed.
The dandelions that I couldn't blow off two days ago, the buns that I kneaded... Familiar things spoke for themselves through my hands, and I just impatiently asked myself to stop brushing quickly.

Creative themes and style |   My works revolve around the creative concept of  "The land of humanity, People on the land".The people in the painting are people in nature, and the lines, shapes, and colors are close to nature. The nature in the painting is nature in the eyes of humans, existing in interaction with humans.I don’t pursue a series of works with a fixed and continuous style. I hope that the style of the pictures will synchronize with the changes in my life and always remain oscillating. The performance of the work must be in sync with the development of one's own life in order to be Sincere and powerful.Ideas are later.

The Rain Flooded the Whole Night is a visual journey of delicacy and fantasy. In the painting, the rain transforms into flowing colors, blurring into a hazy background. Yet, with its unique moist texture, it anchors the temporal depth of “the whole night”. The girl’s curled - up posture, wrapped in soft fabrics, is like having a gentle dream amidst the rain. The circular object above her head and the fluffy dandelion are juxtaposed, breaking the logic of reality but collaging a surreal poetry — the rain can flood the night, yet it can’t submerge the lightness and hope hidden in the heart.

The colors in the painting are gentle whispers. The blue - purple interwoven background renders the moisture and tranquility of the rain. The warm tones of the girl’s clothing are the warmth against the rainy night. The white of the dandelion and the gray of the object reach a wonderful harmony in conflict. This “color dialogue” (even without deliberately using professional terms, the interaction is palpable) makes the rainy night no longer a lonely field, but a container for diverse emotions: there is the moisture of the rain, and also the fluffiness of dreams; there is the chaos of being flooded, and more importantly, the lightness of breaking free from constraints — the dandelion seeds seem ready to ride the wind at any time, suggesting that hope always sprouts in difficulties.

The unconventional combination of elements in the painting is a romantic deconstruction of the ordinary. Rain, night, sleep, and dandelion, these seemingly common images, become the entrance to a spiritual wonderland through the painter’s arrangement. The girl’s closed - eye expression is not a depressed escape, but an active retreat into a gentle shell, gathering strength to dance with the rain. It inspires viewers: The “flooding” of the rainy night is a hug from life. Those moments wet by the rain will become the soil nourishing hope. The dandelion - like lightness is always rooted in the heart, waiting for a gust of wind to fly towards the brightness. Let us, in the seemingly “flooded” chaos, see the romantic possibility of rebirth and pursuit lit up by art.
